Is it possible for young men to have erectile dysfunction?

I am in my late teens and for the past year or so I have been having difficulty getting and keeping an erection. I've been to my personal physician to have my testosterone and hormone levels checked and everything came back normal. Yet, when i participate in sexual activities I tend to have a hard time getting and keeping it hard and I usually end up ejaculating early in the session. Could it be possible for me to have an erectile dysfunction and if so are there any over the counter medicines or remedies for this that actually help? Any advice would be helpful.

A frequent cause of erectile dysfunction in younger males is an atypical masturbatory style, particularly masturbating in the prone (face down) position. This is a troublesome condition called Traumatic Masturbatory Syndrome, or TMS. You can learn more about TMS and how to overcome it at HealthyStrokes.com.

Andropause Or Male Mid-Life Crisis

Men reaching the age of 40 and onwards notice that their youthful power and ravenous virility are slowly diminishing. Many men at these times will experience hair loss, bone loss, memory problems, insomnia and decrease in sexual functions.

They often feel cranky, fatigued, and less motivated. On the other hand, sometimes these symptoms are accompanied by sweating and flushing, loss of muscle mass and strength, aches and pains, increased fat, decreased sexual performance or erectile dysfunction, and depression.

Most men who reach midlife will experience one or all of these in varying degrees. In addition, their impact on the confidence and peace of mind of an aging man can be quite devastating.

Rather similar to the female menopause, this male phenomenon is what is known as andropause. Also called Partial Androgen Deficiency in the Ageing Male (or PADAM) or Aging Male Syndrome (AMS), it refers to the natural and gradual decline of testosterone (or the male hormone) levels starting at the age of 30 and which continue to do so at a staggering rate of 10 percent per decade.

Since testosterone is a hormone that helps maintain sex drive, sperm production, pubic and body hair, muscle, and bone, the consequences of andropause slowly emerge as a man ages.

This "mid-life crisis" poses a great impact in the quality of most men's lives. Life is finally taking its toll on the aging body. Moreover, andropause leads to other long-term and silent effects such as increased cardiovascular risk and osteoporosis.

However, you can opt to battle it out and alleviate or even avoid the symptoms brought about by andropause. You should have a strategy that incorporates lifestyle approaches such as optimal diet, regular exercise, stress management, and reduction of tobacco and alcohol intake.

Natural aphrodisiacs can help you in this time of your life. You have to choose sex pills that are 100% natural and contain herbs like horny goat weed or ginseng that increases your overall body functions not only male virility. Best of all these kind of Ed pills will not produce any of the side effects caused by Viagra or Cialis.

A word of caution that must go out: as tempting as it may be to try them, do not use herbal products that contain yohimbe or ephedra. They can hurt your cardiovascular system as much as they boost your sex life. And while small doses of these two won't hurt you if you're young and relatively healthy, it's really best to just avoid them altogether and use the herbs recommended above.
